Description

Kurukshetra Narwana existing line is passing through the heart of Kurukshetra city due to which there is traffic congestion and jams at level crossing. This elevated track eliminates all 5 manned level crossing throughout the heart of Kurukshetra.

The approximate cost of the project is Rs. 245.99 Crores, which is being shared by Government of Haryana and Ministry of Railways in the ratio of Rs. 136.45 Crores and Rs 109.54 Crores respectively.

Status of Project

• Foundation Stone of this work was laid by Hon’ble Chief Minister, Haryana on 22.08.2019.
• Geo technical investigation, detailed drawing design has been completed
• After getting all the requisite approvals, the bids for execution of work have been invited.
